Exciting opportunity in Virginia Beach, Virginia! We are seeking enthusiastic Distribution Center Associates to become integral members of our logistics team. In this role, you will be involved in the critical processes of receiving, storing, and shipping products. Your responsibilities will include unloading deliveries, stocking merchandise, accurately picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for dispatch. A key focus is placed on maintaining a highly organized and efficient distribution center, ensuring smooth product flow. Safety is our highest priority, and all associates are expected to adhere to comprehensive safety protocols and diligently use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role is physically demanding and requires the ability to perform substantial lifting and prolonged periods of standing and movement. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Stock and organize inventory within the distribution center.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and scanners.
Qualifications:
- Ability to handle frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of products.
- Proficiency in or willingness to learn warehouse equipment operation.
- Understanding of distribution center operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
