Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate in Detroit, Michigan! This role is essential to the smooth functioning of our logistics and distribution operations. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving and processing inventory, picking and packing orders, preparing shipments, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. We are committed to a safe working environment and expect all associates to strictly adhere to Safety protocols and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming goods for accuracy and damage.
- Store inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper rotation.
- Accurately pick items from shelves to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare shipments, including labeling and staging for pick-up.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics processes.
Qualifications:
- Prior warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including regular Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adhering to all guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
