Join our dedicated team as an Order Picker in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! We are seeking efficient and accurate individuals to play a key role in our order fulfillment process within our logistics center. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders, ensuring that the correct products and quantities are selected. Your efficiency and attention to detail are crucial to our customer satisfaction. This role involves operating order picking equipment, navigating warehouse aisles, and utilizing scanning technology. We are committed to a safe work environment, and all associates must follow established Safety guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires the ability to perform regular Lifting of items up to 50 lbs and requires physical stamina. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order sheets or scanner data.
- Verify product codes and quantities before placing items in appropriate containers.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other equipment as needed.
- Assist with putting away received inventory.
- Maintain an organized and clean picking area.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues promptly.
- Adhere to all company Safety regulations and procedures.
- Wear required PPE, including safety vests and gloves, at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Experience with handheld scanners and order picking systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety practices.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
- Good physical condition and stamina for the role.
- Previous experience in logistics or order fulfillment is desirable.
