Join our thriving logistics team as a Material Handler in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is essential for the efficient movement and organization of goods within our state-of-the-art distribution center. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials to and from storage areas, and ensuring inventory is accurately located. Your duties will include operating various material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move products throughout the facility. Safety is paramount in this role, and all team members are required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow strict safety protocols. This position requires considerable physical exertion, including regular Lifting of items up to 75 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Scan and document material movement accurately.
- Stack and arrange materials in an orderly manner.
- Perform routine checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and Safety.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock management.
- Follow all company Safety policies, including the use of PPE.
- Adhere to established procedures for efficient logistics.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Excellent physical condition with the capacity for frequent Lifting of up to 75 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety regulations.
- Must wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
