We're hiring a Picker/Packer for our bustling facility in Tampa, Florida! This crucial role ensures that customer orders are accurately assembled and prepared for shipment, directly impacting our service quality. As a Picker/Packer, you'll be responsible for accurately retrieving items from inventory (picking) and then carefully preparing them for transit (packing). This involves reading order tickets, locating products, verifying quantities, and utilizing appropriate packing materials to ensure items arrive safely at their destination. You are a key player in our Logistics operations. The ideal candidate possesses a sharp eye for detail, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to Safety . We foster a cooperative and efficient work environment. This position offers excellent opportunities for growth within our warehousing team. Your daily tasks will include managing inventory counts, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and supporting other warehouse functions as needed. We provide all essential PPE and comprehensive training to ensure your success and safety. This position requires regular Lifting of items up to 45 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Verify picked items against order tickets for accuracy.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for shipment.
- Maintain organized and efficient workstations.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety guidelines and warehouse procedures.
- Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
- Collaborate with fellow team members and supervisors to meet productivity goals.
- Participate in team meetings and receive ongoing training.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is a plus.
- Ability to perform Lifting up to 45 pounds consistently.
- Basic understanding of inventory control principles.
- Familiarity with shipping and packing materials.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to upholding all Safety standards.
- Punctual, reliable, and possesses a strong work ethic.
