Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory in designated locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to order specifications.
- Prepare goods for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock management.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and logistics.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Assist in other warehouse duties as assigned to support the logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety best practices and the importance of PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving within the logistics framework.
Physical Demands:
The role of a Warehouse Associate involves considerable physical exertion. This includes frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and standing for long durations. Employees must utilize proper lifting techniques and wear all mandated PPE to ensure their safety and prevent injuries in our dynamic logistics setting.
