Join our dedicated team as an Inventory Clerk in Chicago, Illinois, where you will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. This position involves detailed record-keeping, cycle counting, and assisting with physical inventory audits. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient with inventory management systems. You will work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure that stock levels are accurate, discrepancies are investigated, and operational efficiency is maintained. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Record inventory data accurately into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Receive, tag, and stock incoming inventory items.
- Monitor stock levels and report low stock or excess inventory situations.
- Ensure the organization and cleanliness of inventory storage areas.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the correct usage of PPE .
- Assist with tasks that may involve some Lifting of inventory items, typically up to 30 lbs.
- Collaborate with warehouse associates and management to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Support the Logistics department with inventory-related reporting and analysis.
