Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Inventory Control Specialist for our San Jose, California location. This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, which is critical for our logistics operations. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, implementing inventory control procedures, and ensuring optimal stock levels. The ideal candidate will have a sharp analytical mind, a strong understanding of inventory management systems, and a commitment to Safety and efficiency. You will work closely with the warehouse and management teams to identify and resolve inventory-related issues. Maintaining a clean and organized stock area is also a key responsibility. Adherence to all Safety regulations and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. While this role is less physically demanding than some, some moderate Lifting may be required. Contribute to our seamless logistics by ensuring our inventory is always accounted for.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Implement and maintain accurate inventory control procedures.
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder points.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to improve inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate records using inventory management software.
  • Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
  • Wear appropriate PPE when in the warehouse environment.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
  • Ability to perform moderate Lifting as needed.
