We are hiring a Picker/Packer in Boise, Idaho, to contribute to the success of our warehouse operations. This position is fundamental to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are assembled accurately and prepared for shipment. You will meticulously pick items from our inventory and carefully package them, paying close attention to detail and quality. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and committed to maintaining a high standard of work in a fast-paced logistics environment. Safety is a top priority, and adherence to all Safety protocols and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required. This role involves frequent Lifting and movement of goods. Responsibilities:
- Accurately select products from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Inspect products for quality and damage before packing.
- Securely package items for shipment, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Verify order contents against pick lists.
- Label packages with appropriate shipping information.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation and surrounding area.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, such as stocking or organizing.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and operational procedures.
- Consistently use required PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a picking/packing or warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
- Capacity to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of logistics and warehouse functions.
