Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other powered industrial equipment safely.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Transport materials between different warehouse locations.
- Organize inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper placement and accessibility.
- Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counting procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Inspect equipment before and after use, reporting any issues.
- Contribute to overall logistics efficiency through diligent work.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is essential.
- Valid forklift certification is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting up to 55 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety best practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to utilizing PPE consistently.
