You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets, meticulously packing these items for shipment, and preparing them for dispatch. This position demands a high level of organization, speed, and accuracy. You'll be working with a diverse range of products, requiring careful handling and attention to detail. We prioritize safety above all else, so a commitment to following all safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE, is essential. The ability to perform consistent lifting of items up to 40 lbs is a key requirement. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, using appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and guidelines.
- Utilize required PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order pick tickets.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to perform consistent lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
