We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our logistics team in Omaha, Nebraska. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from our warehouse inventory to fulfill customer orders. Your efficiency and precision are key to ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. This physically demanding position requires the ability to navigate the warehouse effectively, identify products quickly, and handle them with care. We prioritize Safety and provide all necessary equipment and training. Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret pick lists or digital orders.
- Locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves.
- Use scanning devices to track inventory movements accurately.
- Transport picked items to the staging or packing area.
- Verify item numbers and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety regulations and procedures.
- Consistent use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
- Perform tasks that require significant physical exertion, including frequent Lifting.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics supply chain.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or a related warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and comprehend product codes and descriptions.
- Experience with handheld scanners or warehouse management systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Dedication to workplace Safety.
- Must be comfortable wearing and using PPE.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory control.
