We are looking for a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our fast-paced logistics operations in Houston, Texas. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items to fulfill orders and then securely packaging them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory based on order specifications.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Package orders securely and efficiently using appropriate materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Operate packing equipment and tools safely.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent picking and checking.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and warehouse procedures.
- Consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required.
- Tasks may involve repetitive motions and significant Lifting.
- Understand and contribute to smooth logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good manual dexterity and ability to work at a fast pace.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform moderate Lifting throughout the shift.
- Commitment to Safety and following instructions.
- Must be comfortable wearing PPE.
- Familiarity with general logistics concepts.
