We are hiring a Distribution Center Associate for our Nashville, Tennessee facility. This is a key role in our operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our distribution network. Responsibilities include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping products accurately and on time. You will play a crucial part in maintaining inventory accuracy and upholding our high standards of operational efficiency. This position involves active physical work, including frequent Lifting and movement throughout the warehouse. A strong commitment to Safety is essential, and adherence to all safety guidelines, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is required.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all items are accounted for.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory counts and help maintain accurate records.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all products.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents.
- Contribute to the overall productivity and efficiency of the distribution center.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve departmental goals within the logistics framework.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred. Ability to perform regular Lifting (up to 50 lbs). Understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management. Knowledge of safety regulations and the importance of PPE. Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment. Strong work ethic and reliability. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow directions and work independently. A commitment to contributing to a safe and efficient logistics operation.
