We are looking for a reliable Shipping Clerk to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. Your duties will include preparing documentation, labeling packages, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining a tidy shipping area. This position requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail to support our Logistics operations. You will work closely with warehouse staff to guarantee that orders are dispatched correctly and on time. This role involves moderate physical work, including frequent Lifting of packages up to 40 lbs. A strong commitment to Safety protocols and the consistent use of PPE are essential. Responsibilities:
- Process outgoing shipments, verifying contents and destinations.
- Prepare shipping labels, bills of lading, and other necessary documentation.
- Ensure packages are properly packaged, sealed, and labeled.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate shipping records.
- Communicate with internal departments and external partners regarding shipment status.
- Troubleshoot and resolve shipping-related issues.
- Keep the shipping area clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Wear all required PPE at all times.
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a shipping or warehouse role is preferred. Familiarity with shipping software and carrier platforms. Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and Lifting up to 40 lbs. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills. Commitment to workplace Safety and understanding of PPE . Knowledge of basic Logistics principles. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Punctual and reliable. Experience with inventory management systems is a plus. Understanding of shipping documentation and regulations. Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities. Focus on order accuracy and timely dispatch. Experience with different aspects of warehouse Logistics .
