Join our team as a Warehouse Worker in Tampa, Florida! This dynamic role is essential for the smooth functioning of our distribution center. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products. This includes handling incoming shipments, stocking shelves, picking items for outgoing orders, and preparing items for shipment. A strong emphasis will be placed on maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Your commitment to **Safety** and proper use of **PPE** is essential. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues. We are part of a larger **Logistics** network, and your role is key to our success. This role involves significant **Lifting** and movement throughout the day.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming goods.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular checks.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment.
- Keep warehouse areas clean and hazard-free.
- Adhere to all company **Safety** policies and procedures.
- Wear designated **PPE** at all times.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
Ability to **Lifting** up to 40 pounds. Previous experience as a warehouse worker or in a similar role is a plus. Basic understanding of warehouse operations. Reliable and punctual. Strong teamwork skills. Must be able to work in a physically demanding role and wear **PPE**. **Safety** conscious. Familiarity with **Logistics** principles is helpful. High school diploma or GED preferred.
