You will be responsible for managing all aspects of shipping and receiving operations, including verifying incoming shipments, preparing outgoing orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records. A strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes is beneficial. Safety is our top priority, and all associates are required to follow strict safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and organizing materials. You will be a key part of our operations, ensuring that products are handled with care and reach their destinations on time. Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. You will coordinate with carriers, manage documentation, and ensure compliance with all shipping regulations. We foster a collaborative environment where your contributions are valued. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper labeling.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent record-keeping and cycle counts.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for timely pickups and deliveries.
- Ensure all shipments comply with company and regulatory standards.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and use required PPE.
- Manage the flow of goods within the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to shipping and receiving.
- Contribute to the overall logistics efficiency of the distribution center.
- Must be able to handle lifting of up to 60 lbs regularly.
