We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fulfillment Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in the heart of New York City. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks within our warehouse, including picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using an RF scanner and other equipment.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring product integrity during transit.
- Inspect goods for damage or defects before packing.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or fulfillment experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety glasses and gloves.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving significant lifting, often up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
