Our Richmond, Virginia facility is looking for an efficient Inventory Clerk to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. This role is essential for our Logistics operations, ensuring that we have the right products in stock at the right time. You will be responsible for tracking stock movement, conducting audits, and resolving any discrepancies. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to accuracy. Safety is a priority, and all employees are expected to follow Safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE. While primarily focused on record-keeping, this role may involve some physical tasks including Lifting. Join our team and contribute to our successful Logistics chain.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately record all incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.
- Maintain organized storage of inventory, ensuring items are properly labeled and located.
- Generate and distribute inventory reports to management.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient inventory flow.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper use of all required PPE.
- Assist with receiving and put-away of goods.
- Support the overall Logistics team in maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Perform other inventory-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory control or a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Proficiency with inventory management software or ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform tasks involving Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Understanding of basic Logistics principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills.
