We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of fabrication processes and welding techniques, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to industry codes and standards, ensuring high-quality workmanship in the assembly of metal components.
*Duties*
* Assemble various metal components according to specifications and project requirements.
* Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, or stick welding techniques.
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
* Utilize tools such as micrometers for precise measurements.
* Operate cranes and other lifting equipment safely to move heavy materials during the fabrication process.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards throughout the fabrication process.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
*Experience*
* Proven experience in metal fabrication and welding is essential.
* Familiarity with lay-up, rigging, and crane operation is highly desirable.
* Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics are required.
* Knowledge of industry codes and standards related to welding and fabrication practices is a plus.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
