We have an immediate opening for a Receiving Clerk in the scenic city of Colorado Springs, Colorado! If you are organized, detail-oriented, and have a knack for accuracy, this role is perfect for you. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for all incoming goods. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately receiving, inspecting, and documenting all deliveries, ensuring they match purchase orders, and identifying any discrepancies or damages. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Inspect all incoming products for damage, defects, or shortages.
- Accurately record received goods into the inventory management system.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues to supervisors.
- Organize and stage incoming materials for distribution or storage.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in receiving, warehouse, or inventory control is advantageous.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and data entry.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles is a plus.
