We are seeking a certified Forklift Operator to join our logistics team in San Francisco, California. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our warehouse. Your duties will include operating various types of forklifts to load and unload trucks, transport goods to and from storage areas, and assist with inventory management. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering strictly to all Safety regulations, and wearing the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are paramount. This position demands a keen eye for detail, excellent spatial awareness, and the ability to perform regular Lifting and maneuvering of heavy loads. Your expertise in forklift operation is vital to the seamless operation of our logistics network. We are looking for experienced and reliable operators who prioritize Safety above all else.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other industrial machinery safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Move inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Perform routine inspections of forklift equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and regulations.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Support overall logistics operations through effective material handling.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification (e.g., OSHA).
- Proven experience as a forklift operator.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to perform Lifting and physical tasks as required.
- Strong understanding of Safety procedures.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
