Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods to and from designated storage areas, and ensuring materials are stored appropriately. You will operate various types of material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to facilitate efficient workflow. A strong understanding of **logistics** and inventory flow is beneficial. This role requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in material placement and tracking. Maintaining a clean, organized, and **safe** work environment is paramount, and adherence to all company **safety** policies and the mandatory use of **PPE** is expected. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Organize and stack materials in designated locations.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Ensure materials are handled safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all **safety** guidelines and wear appropriate **PPE**.
- Support overall **logistics** and warehouse operations.
- Participate in **lifting** and moving of materials weighing up to 60 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a material handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Ability to **lift** and move heavy items (up to 60 lbs).
- Basic understanding of **logistics** and inventory management.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to **safety**.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to wear required **PPE**.
