Join our dynamic team in Atlanta, Georgia, as an Inventory Control Specialist! We are looking for a highly organized and analytical individual to oversee the accuracy and efficiency of our warehouse inventory. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our stock levels are precise, conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, impacting everything from order fulfillment to financial reporting. You will work with advanced inventory management systems and collaborate closely with warehouse staff to maintain optimal inventory health. The position requires a combination of keen observational skills, data analysis, and the ability to perform physical checks, which may involve some lifting . A strong focus on safety is essential, and you will be expected to adhere to all company regulations and wear the required PPE .   • Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
  • Maintain and update inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and refine inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and maximize efficiency.
  • Collaborate with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to resolve inventory-related challenges.
  • Monitor stock rotation (e.g., FIFO/LIFO) and product shelf life.
  • Ensure compliance with all warehouse safety protocols and proper use of PPE .
Requirements:
Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related field. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with WMS software. Ability to perform physical inventory checks, including occasional lifting up to 40 lbs. Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all company policies. Familiarity with supply chain and logistics principles is highly valued. High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications are a plus.
