We are actively seeking a reliable and organized Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our busy logistics center in Fort Worth, Texas. This dual-role position is key to ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of all incoming and outgoing shipments. You will be responsible for managing the flow of goods, verifying shipments against documentation, preparing outgoing orders for dispatch, and maintaining an organized shipping and receiving area. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or general warehouse operations is highly desirable. Responsibilities include operating forklifts and pallet jacks (certification required/preferred), scanning inventory, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with carriers. Safety is paramount in our operations; therefore, strict adherence to all safety protocols and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required. This role involves physical activity, including frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and report any issues.
- Process and document outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy for dispatch.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Scan inventory into and out of the warehouse management system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving area.
- Coordinate with freight carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics operations.
- Must be able to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
