We are hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate for our state-of-the-art facility in Phoenix, Arizona. This critical role involves managing the inbound and outbound flow of goods, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining efficient warehouse operations. You will be responsible for unloading trucks, verifying incoming shipments, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for dispatch. This position is fundamental to our logistics network, requiring a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic warehouse environment and committed to upholding safety standards. Your contribution will directly impact the efficiency of our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Unload and receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Stock received items in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Load outbound shipments onto trucks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Participate in regular safety training and promote a safety-conscious culture.
- Ensure the efficient handling of materials and products within the logistics framework.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or general warehouse operations preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is an advantage.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and inventory management systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
- Understanding of logistics processes and supply chain management.
