We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Provo, Utah. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, performing cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods within the warehouse. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our stock and supporting overall warehouse operations. You will work closely with the receiving, shipping, and management teams to ensure that all inventory data is precise and up-to-date. This position requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organizational skills are essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate will have experience with inventory management systems and a solid understanding of warehouse procedures. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Track and report on inventory levels and movement.
- Receive, unpack, and verify incoming inventory.
- Organize and maintain stockroom cleanliness and orderliness.
- Identify and report damaged or defective goods.
- Assist with shipping and receiving as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Participate in regular safety training and maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure efficient handling of materials to minimize damage and loss.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse operations preferred.
- Proficient in using inventory management software.
- Strong understanding of warehouse logistics and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
