Join our fast-paced distribution center as a Picker/Packer in Charlotte, North Carolina. This dynamic role is fundamental to fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for locating items within the warehouse, picking them from shelves, and preparing them for shipment. Meticulous attention to detail is required to ensure correct items and quantities are selected. We are committed to a safe working environment, providing all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and conducting thorough Safety training. The position involves consistent movement, walking, and occasional Lifting of items up to 40 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or scanners.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Verify order accuracy before sealing packages.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding area.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety rules and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with restocking picking locations as needed.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Contribute to a positive team environment.
- Follow all company policies and Logistics guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a picking or packing role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform accurate Picking and Packing tasks consistently.
- Capability for moderate Lifting of up to 40 pounds.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety protocols.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Basic communication skills.
