We are seeking a reliable Material Handler to support our logistics operations in Cincinnati, Ohio. This position is crucial for the efficient movement and organization of goods within our facility. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing a variety of materials using appropriate equipment. The ideal candidate is physically fit, detail-oriented, and prioritizes Safety and accuracy in all tasks. This role requires the ability to operate material handling machinery and follow precise instructions. Your role directly impacts the speed and effectiveness of our supply chain. We are committed to providing a secure work environment and ensuring all team members are properly trained. Proper use of PPE is mandatory. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a vital part of our business operations. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Organize and store materials in designated areas, ensuring proper inventory management.
- Inspect incoming materials for any damage or discrepancies.
- Prepare materials for shipment, ensuring they are properly packaged and labeled.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety regulations and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with conducting inventory counts and stocktaking.
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Follow all guidelines for safe Lifting and material handling practices.
Requirements:
Ability to perform frequent Lifting (up to 60 lbs). Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is preferred. Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory systems. Must be physically capable of performing demanding tasks. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team. Reliability and punctuality are essential. Knowledge of Safety protocols. This role offers a competitive wage and the opportunity to grow within the logistics industry.
