We are seeking a highly motivated Fulfillment Associate to join our bustling warehouse in the heart of New York City, New York. This dynamic role is at the forefront of our e-commerce operations, responsible for ensuring that customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently. Your duties will include receiving and stocking inventory, picking items from various warehouse locations, meticulously packing orders for shipment, and preparing them for dispatch. We are committed to optimizing our logistics process and maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence and safety. You will be an essential part of a team dedicated to delivering quality service. Strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is required. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming merchandise.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Carefully pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure product integrity during transit.
- Label and stage outgoing shipments for carriers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently as needed.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Uphold all company safety policies, including diligent use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
- Perform regular physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or similar logistics role is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to perform consistent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety standards and the importance of PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
