Job Summary:
Join our expanding team as a Distribution Center Associate in Richmond, Virginia! This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods from our facility to our customers. You will be involved in all aspects of warehouse management, including receiving, put-away, order picking, packing, and shipping. We prioritize a safe and productive work environment, and adherence to all Safety protocols and the proper use of PPE is mandatory. This position offers a chance to develop valuable skills in a dynamic and essential industry.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and verify incoming stock.
  • Accurately store and organize inventory within the distribution center.
  • Pick orders based on customer requirements using various methods.
  • Pack items carefully to ensure safe delivery and minimize damage.
  • Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and documentation.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free workspace.
  • Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals within our logistics framework.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 60 lbs.
  • Experience operating industrial equipment like forklifts is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Dedication to maintaining a high standard of workplace Safety.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
