Our San Diego, California location is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Coordinator to manage and optimize our warehouse operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth flow of goods, coordinating daily activities, and supporting our logistics team. You will be responsible for overseeing inventory, managing inbound and outbound shipments, and ensuring that all warehouse functions are performed efficiently and safely. We need an organized individual with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of operational excellence. Your contribution will be essential to our supply chain success. This position involves tasks that require careful organization, communication, and potentially some Lfiting. Ensuring strict adherence to Safety regulations and the proper use of PPE by all staff is a top priority. You will be instrumental in our logistics performance.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts for accuracy.
- Oversee the efficient processing of inbound and outbound logistics.
- Supervise warehouse staff, providing direction and support.
- Implement and enforce company policies, with a strong emphasis on Safety.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments.
- Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and meets all Safety requirements.
- Train new team members on warehouse procedures and Safety protocols.
- Ensure all employees utilize required PPE.
- Assist with Lfiting and moving of inventory as necessary, following proper procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a warehouse coordination or management role.
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of Safety best practices.
- Experience with managing Lfiting and material handling activities.
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE.
