Join our team as a Material Handler in Tampa, Florida! We're looking for dedicated individuals to assist in the efficient movement and management of materials within our warehouse. In this role, you will be involved in receiving, organizing, and transporting various goods. Your physical stamina, attention to detail, and commitment to Safety are crucial for success. You will play a key role in ensuring that our inventory is handled correctly and that our warehouse operations run smoothly. This position requires you to be comfortable with manual labor, including significant Lfiting and carrying of products. Adherence to all Safety protocols and the proper use of PPE are non-negotiable. You will be an essential part of our logistics network, contributing to the timely flow of products.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming materials.
- Sort and organize materials for storage.
- Transport materials to designated locations within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, prioritizing Safety.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Ensure correct usage of required PPE.
- Perform Lfiting and carrying of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Support the overall logistics process by ensuring materials are readily available.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lfiting, bending, and standing.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Willingness to adhere to PPE requirements.
- Familiarity with basic logistics principles is a plus.
