We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician for our facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role is critical for maintaining the operational integrity and efficiency of our warehouse equipment and infrastructure. Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and ensuring all systems are functioning optimally to support our Logistics operations. You will play a key role in preventative maintenance programs and assist with installations and repairs of warehouse machinery. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety ; all technicians must adhere to strict protocols and utilize all provided PPE . This position may involve moderate Lifting and requires a technical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment, including conveyors, forklifts, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with Safety standards and company policies.
- Properly use and maintain all required PPE .
- Respond to equipment failure calls promptly.
- Contribute to improving equipment reliability and uptime.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and Logistics equipment.
- Ability to perform Lifting and work in various warehouse environments.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and proficient use of PPE .
- Technical certifications or vocational training preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills.
