Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular cycle counts, and investigating discrepancies to ensure the integrity of our stock. Your efforts will directly impact the efficiency and accuracy of our entire logistics operation. You will work closely with warehouse associates and management to identify and resolve inventory issues, implement process improvements, and maintain optimal stock levels. A strong understanding of warehouse management systems and a commitment to Safety are essential. This role requires meticulous record-keeping and the ability to perform some physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 40 lbs. We expect all employees to adhere to company Safety policies and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Monitor stock levels and identify low stock or overstock situations.
  • Track and manage returns and damaged goods.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all company Safety policies and procedures.
  • Wear appropriate PPE when performing warehouse duties.
  • Collaborate with receiving, shipping, and other departments to resolve inventory issues.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform occasional Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
  • Knowledge of warehouse Safety practices and procedures.
  • Must be willing to wear required PPE.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience in the logistics industry is highly preferred.
