Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve merchandise.
- Load and unload trailers and containers efficiently.
- Transport materials to and from designated warehouse areas.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklift equipment.
- Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory checks and maintaining stock accuracy.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Handle the physical demands of the role, including moderate lifting of up to 40 pounds.
- Participate in ongoing safety training and logistics best practice sessions.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and operational excellence.
