Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Stack and retrieve merchandise from shelves and storage areas.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on forklift equipment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Handle the physical demands of the job, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Participate in ongoing training related to safety procedures and operational best practices within the logistics industry.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and efficiency throughout the warehouse.
