We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious Forklift Operators for our busy Los Angeles, California warehouse. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe movement of materials throughout our facility. This includes loading and unloading trucks, transporting inventory to and from storage areas, and staging orders for shipment. Your proficiency in operating various types of forklifts and your commitment to Safety are essential for this role. - Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and storage areas.
- Transport inventory to designated locations within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with order picking, packing, and staging as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all Safety protocols.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to forklift operation and warehouse Safety.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet operational goals.
- Ensure all necessary PPE is worn correctly and consistently.
- Certified Forklift Operator with proven experience in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting, up to 70 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
