Join our vibrant team as a Picker/Packer in the bustling Los Angeles, California area! We are looking for energetic and detail-oriented individuals to play a key role in our order fulfillment process. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from our inventory and preparing them for shipment to our valued customers. This role demands precision, efficiency, and a commitment to quality. You'll be an integral part of our logistics operations, ensuring that orders are accurate, well-packaged, and ready to go out the door on time. We emphasize a safe working environment and provide the necessary tools and training.Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders, using pick lists or handheld scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers, using correct dunnage and labels.
- Inspect products for defects or damages before packing.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as hand trucks or pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all warehouse Safety guidelines.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, including stocking and inventory support.
- Ensure all packages are correctly labeled and staged for shipment.
- Previous experience in picking and packing or a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
- Willingness to engage in frequent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to following all Safety protocols and wearing required PPE.
- Understanding of general logistics principles is a plus.
