We are seeking a dedicated and organized Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Boise, Idaho. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately processing outgoing shipments, ensuring all orders are prepared correctly and on time. This role is crucial to our supply chain operations, requiring meticulous attention to detail and strong communication skills. You will work closely with our warehouse staff and carriers to manage shipment documentation, track packages, and resolve any shipping discrepancies. Experience in a warehouse environment and familiarity with shipping software is a plus. We are committed to providing a safe and productive work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and providing necessary PPE .
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and label outgoing shipments according to company and carrier guidelines.
- Verify shipment contents against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickup schedules and to resolve issues.
- Operate shipping software and equipment efficiently.
- Assist with inventory management as needed.
- Adhere to all Safety protocols and procedures, including proper Lifting techniques.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize shipping processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping or a related role preferred.
- Familiarity with shipping software and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of Logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE .
