We're hiring a Picker/Packer in Phoenix, Arizona, to be a key player in our order fulfillment process. In this role, you will meticulously pick items for customer orders and carefully pack them for shipment. Accuracy, speed, and attention to detail are paramount. You'll be working within a bustling warehouse environment, contributing directly to our logistics operations and ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. We are committed to workplace safety and require the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are organized, efficient, and enjoy working in a hands-on capacity within the supply chain sector.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate shipping materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Operate packing equipment and assist with loading shipments as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse area.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including proper lifting techniques and PPE usage.
- Participate in inventory checks and cycle counts as directed.
- Contribute to overall team efficiency and productivity.
Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is a strong asset. Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 40 lbs. Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for the duration of the shift. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy. Familiarity with basic warehouse logistics is helpful. A commitment to safety and efficiency is required. This role is essential for our customer satisfaction and requires individuals who are reliable and have a strong work ethic.
