We are looking for a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for preparing outgoing shipments, verifying orders, and coordinating with carriers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Responsibilities:
- Accurately process outgoing shipments, ensuring all items are accounted for.
- Verify shipping information against customer orders.
- Generate shipping labels and necessary documentation.
- Schedule pickups with various shipping carriers.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, ensuring they are properly secured.
- Maintain organized records of all outgoing shipments.
- Communicate with customers and internal departments regarding shipping status.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and warehouse organization as needed.
Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field is preferred. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with shipping software and common carriers. Must be able to perform tasks involving occasional lifting. Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment is paramount. This role is key to our customer fulfillment process and requires a dependable individual.
