Media Veterinary Hospital is a well established, progressive small animal hospital looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team. Our ideal candidate will exhibit professionalism as well as compassion, will have strong communication skills and will value working as a part of a team.
*Responsibilities include:*
* *Client Education*
* *Triage and history taking*
* *Proper restraint and handling*
* *Ability to lift up to 50lbs*
* *Venipuncture*
* *Intravenous Catheter Placement*
* *Positioning and obtaining radiographs*
* *Monitoring anesthesia*
* *Calculating drug doses*
* *Familiarity with laboratory equipment (Idexx preferred)*
* *Knowledge of common prescription medication*

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
