Über
* Evaluate the student’s performance capacities and deficits relative to development, sensory integration and activities of daily living
* Refer to and attend appropriate orthopedic clinics with children and parents to obtain current diagnostic and/or treatment information
* Develop and implement, as part of the IEP/IFSP, a treatment plan to meet the unique needs of students
* Demonstrate and instruct family and school personnel in following through with plan activities
* Supervise activities of the occupational therapy students and assistants as assigned
* Manage a safe, comfortable learning environment
* Prepare for and participate in the IEP/IFSP process
* Effectively plan and organize duties
* Maintain effective communication and relationships with students, parents, administrators, school personnel and community representatives
* Inform supervisor of students’ progress and programmatic concerns
* Maintain accurate and timely records
* Comply with Medicaid billing process
* Demonstrate professional conduct and exhibit professional growth
* Comply with school district policies and procedure
* Regular and predictable attendance
* Effectively participate in meetings, committees, staffing’s and other required district and building activities
Under the general supervision of the Supervisor of Ancillary and Health Services.
*Need to Have:*
* Bachelor's degree
* American Occupational Therapy Association Certificate
* Current license as Occupational Therapist in Michigan

Pay: $59,666.00 - $94,087.00 per year
