We are seeking dedicated and energetic Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Chicago, Illinois. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This role is crucial to our supply chain operations, ensuring timely and correct order fulfillment for our valued customers. You will work in a fast-paced environment, adhering to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order lists.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory and update order status.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics principles is a plus.
- Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
