We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber with 5 to 10 years experience to join our plumbing and heating team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and hydronic heating systems. Your expertise will ensure that all plumbing and hydronic heating work adheres to safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new construction, service and remodels utilizing your technical skills and mechanical knowledge to deliver high-quality results efficiently and safely.
*Duties*
* Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise plumbing layouts
* Use hand tools such as wrenches, pipe threaders, and pipe cutters to assemble plumbing components accurately
* Operate power tools safely for cutting, drilling, and fitting pipes or fixtures
* Perform soldering when necessary to join metal pipes or components securely
* Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment while maintaining proper safety protocols
* Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate installation efforts during remodeling or new builds
* Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning
* Follow schematics and technical instructions to ensure compliance with project specifications
* Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints to execute plumbing and hydronic heat installations correctly
* Assist in the assembly of plumbing units and related mechanical systems
* Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
* Adhere strictly to safety guidelines on construction sites to prevent accidents or injuries
* Hydronic heat, boiler service and repair, replacement, and new construction hydronic heat installation.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience in construction plumbing or related trades with a solid understanding of plumbing and hydronic heat systems, minimum 5 to 10 years
* Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
* Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and pipe threading machines effectively
* Strong mechanical knowledge of piping systems including HVAC integration when applicable
* Experience with construction site work, remodeling projects, or commercial builds is highly desirable
* Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly
* Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning
* Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations related to plumbing work
* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for commercial driving tasks if required
* Maintenance Person experience or general assembly skills are a plus
* Flexibility to work in various weather conditions on different construction sites
