Your role is vital in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of goods. Responsibilities include locating items within the warehouse, picking them with precision, and then packing them securely to prevent damage during transit. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order slips or using scanning equipment.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against customer orders.
- Inspect items for any damages or defects prior to packing.
- Pack orders efficiently and securely, using appropriate packaging materials to ensure product safety.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation to packages.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock organization.
- Meet established daily productivity goals for picking and packing.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a related warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
- Must wear and properly use all assigned PPE.
- Understanding of logistics workflow and order fulfillment processes.
- Commitment to safety and quality in all tasks performed.
