Our Orlando, Florida location is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, performing cycle counts, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, and maintaining organized stock records. This position is vital for the smooth functioning of our logistics operations and ensuring product availability. A strong understanding of inventory management principles and a commitment to accuracy are essential. You will work closely with warehouse staff and management to uphold high standards of inventory control. Safety is paramount, and you must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE. This role involves some physical activity, including lifting and moving inventory as needed. We are looking for a reliable and organized individual who can contribute to an efficient and productive work environment. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
- Verify incoming and outgoing inventory against shipping documents.
- Investigate and reconcile discrepancies in inventory records.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in our system.
- Organize and maintain stockroom locations for efficient access.
- Assist in receiving and put-away of new inventory.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or overages.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all inventory items to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Support overall logistics and warehouse operations through accurate inventory management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of inventory control and warehouse logistics.
- Ability to perform some lifting and physical tasks as required.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
