As Catering Sales Manager, you will drive growth, plan and execute high-profile events, and uphold our standard of excellence in hospitality. This role is ideal for a polished, client-focused professional with a passion for creating memorable experiences that reflect both the Wolfgang Puck brand and the spirit of exploration that defines Space Center Houston. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage catering sales opportunities from initial inquiry through execution, ensuring seamless client experiences. Create customized proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders in collaboration with culinary and operations teams. Partner with the Executive Chef and General Manager on menu design, costing, and event planning to ensure profitability and creativity. Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying new business opportunities across corporate, social, and community events. Prepare and monitor departmental budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to achieve revenue goals. Manage event logistics including labor planning, setup, service flow, and post-event wrap-up. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards, including HACCP guidelines. Represent Wolfgang Puck Catering at networking events, tastings, and industry functions to enhance visibility and drive business growth. Support and train hourly and management-level associates, reinforcing excellence in service standards and brand presentation. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals in catering or event management. Minimum of 2 years in the hospitality industry, including at least 1 year in catering sales. Strong knowledge of food trends, fine dining service, and event presentation. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport and maintain client loyalty. Skilled in developing menu proposals and coordinating with culinary teams. Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with CRM systems preferred.
