We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in sunny San Diego, California. This role is fundamental to maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our inventory, which is crucial for the success of our logistics operations. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing inventory control procedures, conducting cycle counts and physical inventories, and investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with proficiency in inventory management software and warehouse management systems (WMS). You will work collaboratively with various departments, including receiving, shipping, and operations, to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize losses. Responsibilities also include analyzing inventory data, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to processes and systems. A commitment to a safe working environment is essential; all staff must adhere to safety guidelines and use designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs may be required. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing logistics company and play a key role in supply chain efficiency.
